back from holiday

I've arrived safely yesterday and have been sleeping for almost 18 hours only to wake up for toilet breaks, shower, food, and woteva necessary including some few phone calls, important and some annoying ones (promo stuff on takaful laa, gym VIP pass la...ntahapehapentah...)

Hi Manal,

Good. Get all the sleep you need. Heyy, nice to have you back.

Bet you feel recharged having been in UK. Keep well.

Zewt ,

U know what, whenever i get the chance on getting on the internet, i almost never missed reading ur entries.

Somehow, after going back to work, i realised my body yet to get fully accustomed to the malaysian time zone and consequently another "jetlagged" sleeping hour episode. I just couldnt shut me eyes last night up to around 4 to 5 am or so. And then i continued sleeping for another 8 hrs.

hey Kak Ruby ,

Seeing that u r a constant traveller flying around different time zones, maybe you have some petua on how to cure jetlag problem besides trying to get plenty of rest.

Tak cukop sebenarnya kak ruby, but 2 weeks is the longest i cud get a break on a cuti rehat application.

Hi Manal,

Yes I do have a sure-fire petua! Now girl this petua I don't quite let many know as it is such a secret! Brace yourself. There is only one, I will not repeat, and that is......

ONE MUST FLY FIRST CLASS...ha ha ha. Jangan marah Manal. In fact I am not joking. That's the truth. That was told to me by my personal friend who is working with a Ministry. She said her boss never suffers from jetlag. So she told me her boss sleeps horizontal and gets a full rest, everytime her boss flies...sigh.

Kak Ruby ,

Now that reminds me of the only one time i managed to get a free upgrade to a business class KUL-LON about 3 years ago. The whole seating-treatment was fab and i felt less tired and more satisfied than ever. No one's bothering me, the seat has ample space, bed-like comfie, both my arms rested equally and undisturbed, my legs almost literally lifted parallel and lied comfortably on those cushiony leg-support, and i didnt have to queue that long to get into the toilet.

I think u r right la on this. One way of beating those jetlag blues travelling across different time zones would have to be plenty of good rest.

Manal...ha ha ha! Believe me. We fly first class or business memang less jetlag.

This trip I came back from Mekah, I needed 7 days of rest my dear. It was that bad my jetlag.

People said, follow the daylight rule. Ya lah, bila sampai wherever, sampai siang ikut siang and malam ikut malam. Nope. It did not work. Give me first class and caviar (saja added cavar for drama) I assure you takde jetlag..ha ha.

Good to know you are back. Once the jetlag is over, I am very sure you will be as fresh as it could after having gone for a holiday.

Have a productive day ahead Doc.

Kak Ruby ,

It's really amazing how our body got affected as we cross the different time zones. Hmm...in that case, maybe i gotta ask those steward/stewardess or those pilots on how to combat jetlag fast.

Caviar eh....the last time i had it was as a topping on the sushi, but not really the very high quality ones...

Sir ,

I kinda celebrate getting over those jetlags by going to a cinema yesterday afternoon and watched Pirates of the Carribean 3 on my own. That was actually my personal record to be able to watch a movie here in malaysia alone. I did this in the UK for the 1st time back in summer 2001 and since then it doesnt matter to me anymore whether i had to go by myself or with frens. Of course la it's more fun going out to the movie with frens/adekberadek but the thing is not everybody share the same likeness/enjoyed the movie like u do and vice versa.

Speaking of productive days, i've already been assigned to make a visit to 5 companies: 3 in bangi and 2 in subang and klang respectively for our 3rd year students industrial placement. So today asek buat appointment dengan those companies and 1 of them agreed to do it tomorrow.

Abdun ,

Alhamdulillah, arrived back in one piece though not totally in peace. I had dreamt about uk twice recently, getting my own big flat there and felt so much at home.

Now that u've said it, i'll be very careful not to share my mobile no. with u.
